To my knowledge, no other shoe on the market that mimics the effects and benefits of barefoot walking / running as Vibrams. This is extremely minimal due to the design of only enclosed rubber feet in a very flexible and durable while allowing the fingers to sit separately instead of scrunched together as happens in most of the shoes ... This allows the toes to stretch and grip the ground when walking or climbing, and when running the toes would be pushed slightly upward (dorsiflexion), while the foot is allowed to stretch fully and completely, which not occur in most shoes.
I have run in these shoes for 2 days now and have noticed a difference in my overall performance in the legs immediately. No muscle fatigue during or after running. This particular model is perfect for me because I am on my toes, so the added shock absorption in the front is a point in his favor.
